It is important to enjoy your time as a student. Part of that is knowing how to keep safe to help avoid situations that may spoil your experience. While Newcastle is a very safe city to live, work and study in, it is advisable that no matter where you are to follow some simple steps that will give you extra vigilance and more peace of mind, whether home or away.

Reporting an Incident:
When reporting an incident you must use the right number. Hate crime can also be reported to ARCH via a Welfare and International Adviser at the Student Support and Wellbeing Centre outside of the University closure period (24/12/11 – 3/01/12). The Security Services at Northumbria will still be available at all times.
