Handbook of Student Regulations

This Handbook indicates the ‘rules of conduct’ to be observed by students as members of the University. It is designed to indicate the rights and obligations on each student as a member of the University.

Sections 1-6, 9 and 12-16 apply to all students. Sections 7, 8, 10 and 11 apply to students on taught programmes (at undergraduate and postgraduate level). MPhil, PhD and Professional Doctorate students have equivalent dedicated regulations which also appear below (a dedicated site for postgraduate research students will shortly be set up).

Students should also consult other official University documents (e.g. Programme Handbooks and academic regulations) to ensure that they are familiar with all that is expected of them. The definitive version of the ‘Handbook of Student Regulations’ is that which appears below.
