Eating, Shopping & Facilities

The University enjoys excellent facilities. Its campuses are modern, spacious and attractive. General facilities at the Northumbria University are currently focused in four main areas; City Campus West, City Campus East, Coach Lane Campus and the Students’ Union.

Shops

The University shop is located in Northumberland Building next to Student Services, opposite the Library. 

The Well Read Bookshop is situated on the ground floor of the Students’ Union Building, City Campus.

A Londis General Store is situated opposite the entrance to Claude Gibb Hall, City Campus West.

General facilities

• Lloyds Bank Cashpoint - situated on the outside of the Students’ Union Building,
  City Campus.
• Barclays Bank Cashpoint - at the reception in Ellison Building
• Link Cashpoint - situated at the East and West reception areas at Coach Lane.
• Wireless Internet Access-students using a laptop equipped with a wireless card can connect to the University’s wireless network wherever there is a ‘hotspot’ sign.
