Part Time Work

Many students will supplement their incomes by working in term time (and/or in the vacation). The Careers and Employment is a service which caters for students looking for part time casual and temporary work and/or work experience.

Please note: The University recommends that full time students work no more than 15 hours per week during term time.

In addition, you should check with your Programme Leader for any special recommendations attached to your study programme for the limitations on part time work, as some programmes are simply too intensive/demanding of your time to allow time for working during term time.
