Student Awards & Prizes

Womble Bond Dickinson Honour Roll

The Honour Roll, which is generously sponsored by Bond Dickinson, is recognition of a student’s achievement on a year of a course within the Law School. Students will be awarded a statement of achievement which they may use to support their C.V. and other forms of job application.

The top 10% (subject to achieving additional criteria) of all law students (excluding final year students) form the Honour Roll for that year.

Successful students are also invited to attend a presentation event at Bond Dickinson's offices in October following the end of the relevant academic year.

Ward Hadaway Bursary

The Year 1 Honour Roll students are invited to apply in the autumn of Year 2 for this bursary.

Following a selection process two students are awarded a bursary consisting of a £1000 award in each of year 2 and year 3 and up to 8 weeks’ paid work experience.

Contribution Roll

This is an annual award to recognise outstanding student contributions to life of the Law School.  Each year the School will make awards to reflect dedication and commitment by students to the Law School community.  All Law school full time, part time, open/distance learning and research students are eligible.

Students can be nominated by any Law School student, support staff or academic staff member.  Self-nomination is also permitted.

This award is currently sponsored by Ben Hoare Bell.
