Northumbria Law School focuses on law in practice. We draw on a large academic faculty comprised of senior researchers and experienced practising lawyers. We are committed to ensuring that our students develop the knowledge and skills needed to become successful legal professionals. It is no surprise that the School of Law is ranked first in the country for law graduates in professional employment (DLHE Survey '12). All of our staff are dedicated to ensuring that our students learn law and legal practice in a way that equips them for careers as legal professionals in the huge range of different roles that lawyers occupy in society.
