Law School Essay Competition

Deadline for submission: 4.00 p.m. Friday 25th September 2015

The Law School is pleased to announce the launch of an essay competition open to all NU Law subscribers.

The aims of the competition are to provide an opportunity for you to demonstrate your written skills, to think about legal issues and to offer you the chance to win a prize relevant to your CV

The essay is a maximum of 2,000 words. Two prizes will be awarded – a first prize of £200 and a second prize of £100.

The essay title is: Is the law the best way to decide when childhood ends?

The following rules apply:

  • the competition is open to all subscribers to NULaw
  • essays must be the sole and original work of the submitting student
  • only one entry is allowed per student
  • the Law School reserves the right to publish the essay 
  • the judges’ decision is final and no appeals will be allowed
  • entries must be printed in hard copy on A4 paper
  • entries must be made to the Law School admin office CCE 330 either by hand in an A4 envelope or by post, the envelopes to be clearly marked Law School Essay Competition
  • Essays must be identified with your student number only

 

Deadline for submission is 4.00 p.m. Friday 25th September 2015. Winners will be announced by 30th October.
