Join or Host an Alumni Reunion

The friendships we make at University help to shape the person we are today and there are many ways the Alumni Association can help you to reconnect with old friends. We can support you to organise a class reunion or provide you with an opportunity to join one which is already in motion.

How we can support

  • Contacting your former classmates to notify them of your plans
  • Sending messages and invitations
  • Promoting your reunion through our webpages,  social media channels and Alumni e-bulletin
  • Recommending accommodation close to your venue and activities to enhance your plans
  • Supporting you with a Northumbria University Campus visit or bespoke requirements

First steps and something to consider

Reunion hosts have chosen to include information on this webpage below, which is then promoted on our alumni channels, to understand interest from fellow classmates. Hosts have then chosen to set up a Facebook, LinkedIn or WhatsApp group with interested classmates before they begin to develop plans. We can support you, in the first instance, by sending a message to those who express interest to share a link to a social media or WhatsApp group should they wish to join. Alternatively, if you have already developed plans, we can notify your fellow alumni.

If you are considering organising a reunion and want to understand interest from your classmates or have plans in place, please do get in touch by completing our Alumni Reunion Interest Form
