I am currently working at Pink Boutique, who are an amazing and successful fashion e-tailer in today's global fast fashion market. With multiple departments across the business there are lots of areas for progression into creative roles, buying and marketing.

What was it about Northumbria that made you decide to study here?

The facilities are amazing and the course had a placement year.

What was it like studying at Northumbria?

A good, well-rounded mix of creative seminars, lectures and practical work.

How connected was your course with industry?

We had a designated careers team member who sent out lots of industry placements. There were always live projects with industry and competitions to win amazing prizes and internships.

What was the best thing about your course?

The access to the facilities in the print room, they were amazing.

How did studying at Northumbria help you achieve your career goals/ give your career an edge?

By giving lots of insight into industry, the showcasing at Graduate Fashion week was a personal highlight.

Which skills/knowledge did you learn on your course that you use most now throughout your career?

The marketing side of the course was most beneficial to me as it is very relatable current business.

What did you enjoy most about your time at Northumbria University?

The city of Newcastle is just amazing!

What advice would you give somebody who is considering studying at Northumbria?

Definitely go for it.

Fun, educational, insightful
