What did you like most about your course?

What I loved most about the course was our field trip to Millport for the Marina Biology module.

What did you do after you graduated?

When I graduated, I achieved a graduate position at Charles River in Edinburgh, a global provider of essential research products and services that advance drug discovery and development.  I’m an Assistant Scientist and I support Study Directors within ecotoxicology, helping to develop studies undergoing a range of tests from reproduction to early life stage tests.

Briefly tell us about your typical working day.

I work with a range of species from Algae and L. minor to Daphnia and various varieties of fish.  My job requires me to work in both the laboratory and in the office.
