What did you do after you graduated?

I moved to London after graduating and after a lot of networking I was fortunate to start working in private practice.

What does your role at work involve?

This job role allowed me to use the skills I had attained in my degree on a daily basis. Using my knowledge I was able to help individuals with dietary advice and making positive lifestyle changes!  I have qualified as a personal trainer which has expanded the services I can offer my clients, allowing me to offer a lifestyle approach, incorporating both exercise and nutrition.

How did your degree at Northumbria benefit your career?

The versatility of my degree, gave me a wide range of skills which has benefited me tremendously! From research, to lab work, to working in groups, one to ones, all of these combined has strengthened my skill set and makes me confident in my everyday practice.
