Several seasons of travelling, I have lived in Greece, Portugal and France. I worked in lower positions and my experience combined with my degree have led me to a managerial position.

I now run several properties. I cover the admin and manage the team of staff who run them. I always avoided an office job and now I love it!

What was it about Northumbria that made you decide to study here?

I love Newcastle and Northumbria gave me a great vibe - your future university will always give you a good feeling and you’ll just know. I loved the library upgrade while I was there too.

What was it like studying at Northumbria?

The feedback was constructive.

How supportive did you find your lecturers and tutors?

They were good. Andrea Knox was fabulous and helped with my dissertation a lot.

What was the best thing about your course?

I loved that my course had little contact hours and lots of support and free time. Studying in my own time taught me good structure and self discipline.

How did studying at Northumbria help you achieve your career goals/ give your career an edge?

I feel it helped me to become more confident in public speaking and my written work is excellent. I find I can explain myself fully in my writing.
