I am a Researcher at Nottingham Trent University

What was it about Northumbria that made you decide to study here?

Northumbria has expertise in the field of study- Clinical Legal Education (CLE) with its award winning SLO

What was it like studying at Northumbria?

Studying at Northumbria was great, my was was purely research and no lectures

How connected was your course with industry?

Very well connected. CLE is all about the practice of law within the law school so I had a lot of exposure in this regard and also the opportunity to attend conference and be a guest lecturer as well

What was the best thing about your course?

My supervisory team were excellent in the quality of feedback I received

How did studying at Northumbria help you achieve your career goals/ give your career an edge?

It helped to jump-start my career in the academia as I also was a tutor on some seminars

Which skills/knowledge did you learn on your course that you use most now throughout your career?

Research, time management, ability to work under pressure and to meet strict guidelines

What did you enjoy most about your time at Northumbria University?

I built some great relationships

What advice would you give somebody who is considering studying at Northumbria?

Go for it. It’s a student-friendly environment and the staff are very supportive

How would you describe your time at Northumbria in three words?

Fulfilling and rewarding
