 After I graduated, I moved to London and carried on working in finance related roles

What are you doing now?

I still work in finance but I have since published 2 books - a third on the way

What was it about Northumbria that made you decide to study here?

I lived in Heaton and decided to go to Northumbria as it was my local university. 

What was it like studying at Northumbria?  

I had some great friends

What was the best thing about your course?

The varied nature of the course - which gave me the opportunity to fit into varied industries especially relevant when working in an accounting practice with numerous clienteles from varied industries

What advice would you give somebody who is considering studying at Northumbria?

Keep up with your course work - start with a draft out line and have it reviewed - almost immediately - and then reviewed at least 5 times before you hand it in.

How would you describe your time at Northumbria in three words?

I was a local student - so it was mainly academic - I still had my family and life seconds away
