This is what I've always dreamt of doing in my career. After studying at Northumbria University, I knew there was something special awaiting me in the labour market mostly in the advance technological world we are living today. I'm really doing pretty well in this area, in installations and electrical maintenance.

Basically, I'm working as installation and maintenance electrical engineer.

What was it about Northumbria that made you decide to study here?

Everything about Northumbria was absolutely amazing. The study conditions, the lecturers, the facilities and the city centre which is a workable distance to the campus.

What was it like studying at Northumbria?

Honestly, everything was just great from the lectures, seminars, team work with my colleagues and the quick response of the management staff towards international students was amazing too.

How connected was your course with industry?

Every single module during my course of study, I can relate to situations in my place of work.

What was the best thing about your course?

The best thing about my course is the defending of my project, it really build up my confidence in real life situations.

How did studying at Northumbria help you achieve your career goals/ give your career an edge?

It helps me in all ramifications of life most especially in the pursuit of my career.

Which skills/knowledge did you learn on your course that you use most now throughout your career?

I actually learnt a lot of skills such as matlab software, simulinks, Microsoft project and it increased my typing skills.

What did you enjoy most about your time at Northumbria University?

The green environment and weather condition as well as the city life of Newcastle.

What advice would you give somebody who is considering studying at Northumbria?

My advice is very simple, just keep your head up and you will achieve your goals and objectives.

How would you describe your time at Northumbria in three words?

Absolutely wonderful and great.
