I come from a very modest Indian family. I nurtured my passion for fashion since I was a teenager and started modelling while I was in studying at the University. I found out about this course, which gave me an opportunity to study in London and that was just an answer to my prayer!

What are you doing now?

At the moment I am running my own online store based in the United Kingdom.

How did studying at Northumbria help you achieve your career goals / give your career an edge?

I have always dreamt of being an entrepreneur and this course helped me to channel my dream into a reality.

What was the best thing about your course?

Assignments. I can honestly say that they taught me how to research and work to deadlines. My visit to London was the icing on the cake.

Which skills/knowledge did you learn on your course that you use most now/throughout your career?

Brainstorming, ability to research and work within deadlines.

What did you enjoy most about your time at Northumbria University?

Exploring new cultures, meeting new people, industrial visits and social networking events.

What advice would you give somebody who is thinking of studying at Northumbria?

Don't delay, don't second guess, just act.  Its totally worth it.

How would you describe your time at Northumbria in 3 words?

I want more !!!
