I retired from AstraZeneca in October 2013 after 27 years.  I set up my own consulting company, RussInnova Inc., and recently also took on a Business Development role for an innovative small company called YourEncore.

How did studying at Northumbria help you achieve your career goals / give your career an edge?

I learned both academic and real-world skills doing a four-year sandwich course in Applied Chemistry.  In addition to content knowledge my time at Northumbria really helped develop my problem-solving, creativity and design-thinking skills.
