Transforming Service Design and Big data Technologies into Sustainable Urbanisation

About the workshop:

Under the British Council Researcher Links scheme offered within the Newton Fund, the British Council and NSF of China, Northumbria University and the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISCAS), will be holding a workshop at the School of Design, Northumbria University on June 27-29, 2017.

The workshop, entitled Transforming Service Design and Big data Technologies into Sustainable Urbanisation is being coordinated by Northumbria University's Professor Shengfeng Qin and Professor Cuixia Ma at ISCAS, and will have contributions from other leading researchers: Professor Robert Young in Service Design and Professor Keith Shaw in Sustainable City.

The programme, 'British Council Researcher Links', provides opportunities for early career researchers from the UK and China to interact, learn from each other and explore opportunities for long-lasting research collaborations.

We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK to apply to attend this workshop. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Newton Researcher Links programme.
