The first conference for Chinese Society of Chemical Science and Technology in UK and the Society of Chemical Industry (CSCST-SCI) was taken place on 1994, since then, it has initiated subsequent conferences annually hosted by the universities across UK. The 24th annual CSCST-SCI conference will be held at the Northumbria University at Newcastle upon Tyne on 23rd - 24th June 2017. The theme of this event will be “Novel Materials and Surface for Future Engineering”. To effectively address this interdisciplinary theme, a special symposium session will be held as a part of the event, supported by the special interest group (SIG) of ‘Droplet and Flow Interactions with Bio-Inspired and Smart Surfaces’ under EPSRC funded UK fluidic network.

We would expect the 24th annual CSCST-SCI conference to be a successful event by providing a wonderful platform for researchers to present latest progresses, exchange ideas, networking and initialize collaborations. We are hereby inviting you to participate in this conference and to contribute to the topic of your scientific interests. PhDs and early career researchers will be particularly welcomed to attend this event and a few travel grants are available to support.
