STFC Dinner Menu, Jurys Inn

An evening dinner is available to book at a cost of £19.95 per dinner. The dinners are at The Jurys Inn on Sunday 10 September, Monday 11 September and Tuesday 12 September.

Day 1 Sunday 10 September


Homemade cauliflower soup, cheese samosas, curry oil dressing

Chorizo and wild boar Scotch egg, HP sauce, garden leaves

Sautéed garlic King Prawns on toast

Main courses

Slow cooked brisket of beef, creamy mash, baby vegetables, red wine sauce

Sole Veronique with a grapes white wine sauce

Posh Mac & Cheese, asparagus and poached egg


Traditional Geordie Singing Hinnie served with fresh berries and cream

Sticky toffee sundaes

Selection of sorbet


Day 2 Monday 11 September


Homemade roast pepper and tomato soup, crusty rolls

Baked Portobello mushrooms, herb crust, goat cheese and balsamic

BBQ pressed belly pork with and apple puree and black pudding crumb

Main courses

Brined guinea fowl, potato terrine, artichokes puree, broccoli and chilli jus

Seafood pot noodles with ginger chilli and lime

Wild mushrooms wellington, tarragon sauce


Double chocolate brownie, vanilla ice cream

Lemon and ginger cheesecake mango sorbet

Selection of ice creams


DAY 3 Tuesday 12 September


Homemade cream of mushrooms soup, crusty rolls

Deep fried trio of cheeses with a cranberry salsa

Smoked salmon and avocado gateaux

Main courses

Grilled lamb Kofta, with almond and raisins couscous, flat bread and raita

Fisherman’s fish pie-selection of market fishes cooked in creamy leek sauce topped with cheese mash

Chick peas and potato mild madras curry served with braised rice and naan bread


Classic apple crumble, spiced custard

Salted caramel tort served with honey comb ice cream

Fresh fruit salad
