Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme - Presentation

The JET Programme is an official Japanese Government scheme which sends graduates to Japan for a minimum of 12 months to promote international understanding and improve foreign language teaching in schools.

UK participants are assigned to be either Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) helping to teach English in the classroom or Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs) who work in local government offices (Japanese language ability essential for CIR position).
