Northumbria University's NHS Fab Change Week Event

Monday 13 November, 1pm - 3pm

Lecture Theatre 022, Clinical Skills Centre, Coach Lane Campus, Northumbria University

 

This event will include a presentation by Health Policy analyst, writer and broadcaster Roy Lilley on the role of students and education in relation to the NHS Change Agenda.

The Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP will participate, via video link, in a live debate focusing on change in the NHS. There will also be an opportunity to hear from Northumbria University Midwifery students.

 

About the speaker 

Roy Lilley is a former chair of the NHS Trust and currently works as an independent health policy analyst, writer and broadcaster. He has twice been voted the top UK speaker on NHS topics and is listed in Debrett’s as the most influential people in healthcare.

Roy is the Founder of the Academy of Fabulous NHS Stuff www.fabnhsstuff.net, an online repository that has become a social movement and is seen as the change platform for the NHS and Social Care. He is also a publisher of the e-newsletter for NHS managers – see www.nhsmanagers.net
