Jobs in Mental Health

Northumberland Building, Room 306

-

If you're interested in supporting people with mental health issues this session will provide an overview of the options available to get your career moving forward.

One in four adults in the UK suffers from mental health problems at some point in their life.  People agree that mental health support should be a focus for our NHS.  This session is ideal for anyone considering a career in supporting people with mental health problems.  The session will cover an overview of the mental health sector, talk about the realities of working in the sector, provide information about the range of job opportunities available, including charities, the NHS and public sector and show you how and where to find job vacancies.
