Young Researchers' Forum IV - Innovation in Construction Materials

The Great Hall, Sutherland Building

The Young Researchers’ Forum IV is a free one-day event that showcases research in construction materials and this year is organised by the Department of Architecture and Built Environment (Faculty of Engineering and Environment) at Northumbria University. This event aimed to create a unique overview of the ongoing research in innovative and traditional construction materials and provided extensive opportunities for informal discussion, social interaction and networking. PhD students, early career researchers (e.g. Postdoc) and new appointees in both industry and academia joined and shared knowledge and ideas. IOM3 and Northumbria University aims to support the new generation of researchers and their impact on current and future society therefore there were no fees involved in attending this event.
