Join us at our Solicitor Apprenticeship Open Evening to learn all about the North East Solicitor Apprenticeship (NESA) and how you can apply for 2020. 

Date: Thursday 28 November 

Time: 16.30 - 19.30

Venue: Northumbria University, Business and Law Building, City Campus East, Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE2 1UY

Over the evening, you will receive an overview of the Solicitor Apprenticeship Degree programme and hear from existing apprentices. You will also be able to meet and network with the recruiting law firms and organisations for NESA 2020 and learn more about the recruitment and application process. Some of the organisations signed up for NESA 2020 include:

  • Samuel Phillips Law

  • Ward Hadaway
  • Womble Bond Dickinson

The NESA programme has won widespread praise for its innovative approach in opening up to legal profession to young people and offering an alternative route into law. Successful applicants will not pay any university tuition fees and will graduate with a Northumbria University degree, leading to full qualification as a Solicitor.

17.00: Introduction to the Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme. Hear from existing apprentices from recruiting firms/employers and Q&As.

18.30:  Meet and Network with the Law Firms/Employers - discuss the roles available and get inside the track on how to apply.

19.30: Finish
