Become an Apprentice with EY and Northumbria University

Interested in earning whilst you learn? If so, a Degree Apprenticeship could be the best option for you.

We have partnered with EY to deliver a specialist Leadership and Management Degree Apprenticeship.

Ernst & Young (EY) is one of the ‘Big 4’ global professional services firms – helping organisations and clients improve through using business, finance and technology.

EY offer this Degree Apprenticeship Programme suited to those aged 18+ finishing school or college in 2024.

Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship (3 - 3.5 years)

  1. Studying towards a BA Hons degree in Business Leadership and Management practice (Northumbria University) and Chartered Manager status from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
  2. Day-to-day, you’ll be helping EY to build a better working world by supporting clients in areas like financial crime prevention, suitability of financial advice and project management 

As a Degree Apprentice, you will work towards an Honours Degree and Apprenticeship, paid for by EY, whilst also gaining real-world experience working part-time at EY. Your working week is split 4 days working in the heart of Newcastle in their head office and 1 day per week studying.

5pm - Registration

5.30pm - 6.45pm - Presentations

  • 5.50pm - EY on job roles/recruitment and selection process
  • 5.55pm - Northumbria University and our CMDA course
  • 6.10pm - Apprentices share their experiences
  • 6.30pm - Q&A
  • 6.45pm - End of presentation session

6.45pm - 7.30pm - Optional discussion time and a short tour of Newcastle Business School
