Dr Muhammad Akram

Prior to joining Newcastle Business School, Muhammad worked for several years in industry as a management consultant.

Muhammad's current research interests are risk management in new product development, supply chain, supply chain risk management and sustainable supply chain. He has published extensively in top management and business journals including International Journal of Management Review and International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology.

Currently, I am supervising 5 postgraduate students in different research domains including identification of barriers toward sustainable supply chain and barriers towards supply chain collaboration.
