Dr Wasim Ahmed

Dr Wasim Ahmed has years of experience in digital business technologies and has undertaken research, consultancy and entrepreneurial activities in this area. He has experience working with industry, and government.

Dr Ahmed is often much in demand and has delivered over 60 talks across 11 countries including the UK and covering China, Germany, Switzerland, Croatia (x3), Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark (x2), Australia, United States, and South Africa. He regularly runs social media events in London and in Croatia.

He has authored social media blog posts for the London School of Economics and Political Sciences Impact Blog. In 2015 his blog on Twitter tools appeared among the top 5 most read and this was achieved in an updated post in 2017. 

He has multiple media appearances such as on the BBC, as well as international media outlets across the world. Recently his work was featured in an article for the Telegraph and in an online article for SABC News. See below a recent appearance on live television:

He has also appeared in multiple acknowledgements pages in peer-reviewed journal articles, PhD theses, master’s dissertations, as well as undergraduate dissertations across the United Kingdom and the rest of the world.
