Dr Jane Brown

NBS Janebrown Staffprofile 255Jane’s research interests lie within consumer behaviour, branding and communications. She is currently studying for a PhD, teaching in the Business School and working towards a PG HEP qualification.

 She worked across several sectors at management level including not-for-profit military and aerospace engineering, zero/low carbon engineering and cosmetics. Proficient in the Adobe suite for artwork creation and brand application, Jane has designed and implemented several branding/re-branding activities for SMEs.

 Jane has an MA with distinction in Marketing, and a first class BA (Hons) in Design Management and Innovation. She has lectured for the CIM at Newcastle College and Gateshead College, and as a part-time lecturer for Sunderland University and Newcastle Business School prior to becoming a Graduate Tutor.
