Ziad Elsahn is an Assistant Professor in International Business and Head of Education at the Entrepreneurship, innovation, and Strategy department at Northumbria University, Newcastle Business School. He joined Northumbria University in 2018 after completing his PhD in International Business at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His research interests lie at the intersection of International Business, Organisation theory, and Strategy. Specifically, his research focuses on internationalisation, knowledge coordination and integration within and between organisations, and strategy making processes and practices. He explores these issues in the context of both SME and large cooperatives, professional service firms, and multinational entreprises. His research has been published in journals such as Journal of International Management, Industrial Marketing Management, International Business Review, Management International Review, Management Learning, R & D Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and World Development.
