Prof Maria Fusco


Department: Arts

I am an award winning Belfast-born interdisciplinary writer working across criticism, fiction, theory and performance writing. My work is translated into ten languages and I regularly contribute to internal publications and journals.

My practice research has been commissioned by bodies including: Artangel, BBC Radio 4, Whitechapel Gallery, Pompidou Centre and Contemporary Calgary.

I am a member of the AHRC peer review college and work internationally as a mentor and consultant. Previously, I was a Reader at the University of Edinburgh and Director of Art Writing at Goldsmiths, University of London.
