Dr Arseni Goussev

EE Asrenigoussev Staffprofile 255Arseni obtained his BS in Applied Mathematics and Physics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1998. Then, Arseni moved to the USA, where he obtained MS in Electrical Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000, and PhD in Theoretical Physics at the University of Maryland-College Park in 2005.

After completing his Ph.D., Arseni held several postdoctoral research and teaching positions. He was a Humboldt Research Fellow at the University of Regensburg, Germany, 2005-2007, a Postdoctoral Research Assistant and a fixed-term Lecturer in Applied Mathematics at the University of Bristol, UK, 2007-2011, and a Guest Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems, Germany, 2011-2012. In August 2012, Arseni joined Northumbria University as a Senior Lecturer in Applied Mathematics
