John Holmes

EE Johnholmes Staffprofile 255John spent the early part of his  career in local authority building control but broadened his areas of expertise by taking and OU degree in the social sciences and a MA in Urban Studies.  He joined Northumbria in 1988 to teach construction technology and land economics.  Since then he has taken in an interested in sustainability issues and has become a BREEAM AP carrying out a number of BREEAM assessments for projects in the region.

He is a member of Association of Building Engineers and Society for the Environment.
