Peter Harrington

Senior Lecturer

Department: Mathematics, Physics and Electrical Engineering

Peter graduated with a BEng(H) Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree from Newcastle University in 1981. He worked for British Aerospace Dynamics in Hatfield for 4 years. During this time he was engaged with electronic design for guided weapon and satellite systems. He joined Newcastle Polytechnic in 1985 and have enjoyed teaching microprocessor systems, embedded systems and digital electronics. Peter has been programme leader fro the Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme for the past eleven years and has been actively involved in franchise programs in Malaysia and Singapore and with partner colleges in China.
