Dr Ran Liu

Assistant Professor

Dr. Sophie Liu holds a BSc in Construction Project Management, MSc in International Marketing Management, and a PhD in Marketing. She spent over 3 years working as a Marketing Director and Brand Manager in US and China based companies. After completing her PhD at Leeds University, she worked as an associate Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Huddersfield prior to joining Newcastle Business School in Aug 2014. Her main academic interests are in marketing communications, digital marketing, ambush marketing, social media marketing, and artificial intelligence in marketing.
