Research Themes and Scholarly Interests

My research focuses on how reading is acquired and developed across the lifespan in different writing systems. In particular, I’m interested in understanding the time course and the neural basis of the cognitive processes involved in reading, using different methodologies (e.g., computer tasks, eye tracking, EEG/ERP).
