 Georgios Piperopoulos

Professor Georgios P. Piperopoulos received his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. degrees studying sociology and psychology at American, German and Austrian Universities. Spanning an academic life of over four decades in American, European and Greek Universities he is now retired from his chair as professor in Management, Communication and PR in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece.

He has developed and taught Leadership, Communication, Stress Management and Psychological Operations courses at the Supreme Joint War College (Army, Navy, Air Force) of the Hellenic Armed Forces; The Hellenic Army Staff training School; the Hellenic Police Continuing Education Centre and at the Greek branch of the United Nations Peace Serving Operations Training Centre in Greece (UNPSOTC).

As a practitioner, he has held a variety of top managerial posts in large multinational enterprises and public organizations in the USA and Greece and he has been a management consultant to a number of multinational and large national enterprises.

He has published several textbooks and some bestselling popular books in Greek and English and authored hundreds of articles and editorials in leading Greek Newspapers and magazines. A frequent guest on Greek TV and radio programs as a commentator,  he presented, for several years, his own TV program titled ‘I Communicate Therefore I am’ in Greek National and Regional TV channels and Radio stations.

I donated my work and received no royalties for this booklet published in historical order by: Good Year Hellas, S.A.; CONSUM, S.A. the Co-Operative chain of Supermarkets; The Hellenic Armed Forces Army General Staff; The Personnel Health Fund of the National Bank of Greece; the Co-operative Bank of Kozani & Western Macedonia.
