Industrial experience –

1973 – 1996: Managing director of Elliott Richardson Ltd. (General construction new build, civil engineering, remedial damp and infestation treatments and shopfitting refurbishment).

Professional activities/achievements -

September 2010 - Reviewed grant application for The Icelandic Research Fund - Evaluation of an application no. 110019021 BJW - Performance Tests for non Alkali Expansive Concrete.

2011 - Carried out book reviews for John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Reviewed the second editions of Barry’s Introduction to Construction of Buildings and Barry’s Advanced Construction of Buildings.
