Rebecca Radley

Senior Lecturer

Department: Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation

Rebecca is a Senior Lecturer within the Department of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation and is a member of the Sport Development team. Rebecca teaches across a number of the sport programmes and modules; her teaching interests lie mainly within employability, professional development and sport development.

Rebecca is the employability lead for the Department and works to develop valuable opportunities for students to engage with immersive, industry-based experiences through links with local, national and international sport organisations.

Prior to commencing her academic career Rebecca worked in a number of roles within the sport industry including time as a Sport Development Officer for a local authority and as Competitions Manager for Northumbria Sport. Rebecca is a qualified coach in a number of sports but her main coaching interests are in hockey, and she currently coaches two hockey teams in the local area.
