Due to the current pandemic traditional exams cannot be held on campus (only in exceptional circumstances these are considered, having been approved by the relevant committees and Professional Bodies) and alternatives have been offered so as not to disadvantage students.

There are several types of online exams:

•   24-hour Timed Assessment

•   Restricted Timed Assessment

 •   Oral / Presentation

•   Blackboard Exam (Test within Blackboard)

 •   Remote Proctoring–Honorlock (Must be approved by Professional Body)

 •   Practicals

All the information you require is on your module’s blackboard site, including the date and time. In addition, there is a complete list of your faculty modules with dates and times available here. There will also be a cover sheet in the module site explaining the specific instructions for the exam type chosen for your assessment.

For full Exam FAQs can be found here.

The date and time of examinations has now been published, the locations for any on-site examinations will be made available via the NU Connect App by 10th December. This will include any additional arrnagements students may have.
