Katherine joined Northumbria University in 2007 working in the Newcastle Business School in various roles where she remained until 2016 where she joined the Faculty of Arts, Design and Social Sciences as Registrar.
Working across and with many teams both internally and externally to the University, Katherine has led teams and processes driving innovation and change. As an active member of many working groups, cross university committees and whilst working on and leading key projects, she has driven and implemented change championing the "One University" and "Take on Tomorrow" ethos.

Katherine has contributed towards and saw a number of key achievements namely the Newcastle Business School achieving double AACSB accreditation and the Times Higher Education Business School of the Year 2015 award and most recently the shortlisting in the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Excellent in Registry Services award.
Prior to working at Northumbria University, Katherine, following graduation from Sheffield Hallam University, pursued her career in Higher Education working at Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Newcastle in administrative roles.
