Newcastle's Multilingual Library

Out and about

Did you know that there is a Multilingual Library located in Newcastle City Centre?

Opened in 2015 and run by brilliant volunteers, it houses beautifully displayed books in around 70 languages:

Whether you're an international student, studying - or just have an interest in - language, or just want a little break from every day life, this is definitely a lovely little place to visit, located in Newcastle's Eldon Square (upstairs in Eldon Gardens).

Below is a video where one of the volunteers (who happens to be my amazing little sister - can you see the resemblance?) gives us some more information on the library.

Thank you to Rachel and those at the Multilingual Library.
