Things To Do This Halloween

Anele Sachparonian Out and about

I have personally never been much of Halloween fan, however, last year Newcastle showed me that Halloween is not just candies (ok, that part I liked) and bad costumes. And now I want to share all the activities that you can attend with a costume or without and just get a bit scared or at least intrigued.

Halloween Late: Bewitching Bots at Life Science Centre (26 Oct 20.00)

Life Science Centre will open its doors after dark once again for an adult-only Halloween party. There’ll be a station to decorate Day of the Dead sugar skulls, an ultraviolet Gin bar and many more.

Walk on the Dark Side at Seven Stories (27 Oct 18.00)

Find out about life at Number 36 Lime Street before Seven Stories moved in. But the staff informs you to keep your eyes on the shadows, as after hours when all the visitors have gone, you are never alone.

The Great Tyneside Cinema Halloween All-Nighter (27 Oct)

The legendary Cult Classic All-Nighter is back for another frightful night of cult horror movies.

Quayside tour: HALLOWEEN EDITION (30 Oct, 31 Oct & 1 Nov 16.00)

Find out with BALTIC's CREW about local spooky sights and haunting history in this special Quayside Tour.

City Tour - Walk on the Dark Side (31 Oct 19.00)

I was personally on this tour last year and it was fascinating, for faint hearts it will be a good dose of scares and those a little bit tougher will still be very interesting to know unexplained stories of Newcastle.

After injecting as much horror stories through the tours or movie do not forget that pubs, clubs and everything above and beyond will be ready for your zombie self to dance the night away and I hope you do not vanish with the first sun.
