Ward Hadaway are a UK Top 100 law firm and a major player in the North of England with offices in Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester. We are currently looking for a Solicitor Apprentice to join us in the Newcastle office in September 2022.

Competitive salary and benefits package including 25 days annual leave (increasing to 27 upon 5 years' service and the option to purchase additional days), life assurance, travel pass loans and a pension scheme, in addition to a range of other flexible benefits.

Who is an ideal candidate?

Our Solicitor Apprenticeship is open to candidates who have 3 good A-levels (or equivalent), and 5 GCSEs graded 9-4 (A* to C). But it's not just a strong academic foundation we are looking for – we also want ambitious, enthusiastic candidates who will be a good fit with Ward Hadaway and our own culture and ambitions. This is a really exciting opportunity to dedicate yourself to a 6 year course which will see you qualify as a Solicitor, and so we're looking for a resilient individual with the energy and enthusiasm to commit to a long-term goal.

 

You'll need to be available to attend an assessment centre on 9th March, and to undertake a one-week work experience placement during the Easter holidays.

Work Location

Newcastle office (we have a hybrid policy in place which also provides the opportunity for some home-working where appropriate)
