Whichever way you choose to reach us, it's easy to get here...

Northumbria University has two campuses in Newcastle - City Campus and Coach Lane Campus (each with an East and West site).




Newcastle has its own airport that has both domestic and international flights to major cities such as London, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Aberdeen, Dublin, Belfast, Southampton, Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona, Prague, Dubai and Copenhagen.



Catch the train from most major cities and arrive in no time at all.

Birmingham: 4 hours

Edinburgh: 2 hours

Glasgow: 3 hours

London: 3 hours

Manchester: 3 hours

Sheffield: 2 hours



A longer journey than the train but it can be the cheaper alternative.

Located on the main UK north-south route, Newcastle is very accessible by car.

Car ferry and passenger services operate to Tyneside from Holland.

The North Shields International Ferry Terminal at Royal Quays ( Tyne Commission Quay) is seven miles east of Newcastle. Bus services run from the terminal building to the city centre.
