For 2019 we have developed a Summer School programme which will enable students to spend three or six weeks of their summer experiencing Newcastle and Northumberland at two fantastic locations
Newcastle Summer School
Dates: June 16th - July 6th 2019 (duration three weeks)
Cost: £2,990
Our three-week summer school last summer was a success and we are beyond excited to welcome you in the summer of 2019. The programme is delivered in our state-of-the-art facilities, by our faculties of Engineering and Environment and Health and Life Sciences.
The Summer School includes field trips and an exciting social programme to help you learn about our region while enjoying your summer and making friends from all over the world. Some of the highlights of the Summer School are: A welcome event and ice breaker, a farewell dinner and a trip around the stunning Northumberland coastline, including a weekend stay in Alnwick Castle, (Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films)

Dates: June 16th - July 7th, 2019 (Newcastle) and July 7th - July 26th, 2019 (Alnwick castle)

Three weeks in Newcastle not enough?
This year we will be offering an extended six week summer school with three weeks in Newcastle followed by three more weeks staying at Alnwick Castle - Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. Having studied a module in criminology or sport at Newcastle, students will then have the opportunity to study a module on British Culture and Tourism – living and learning in a real life castle!
The Alnwick programme will include field trips and a social programme including a visit to Edinburgh.
Meals Monday to Friday are also included.
