Northumbria is a young university, situated in the vibrant ‘Best Student City’ of Newcastle. It offers a wide range of degree subjects from which to choose, alongside amazing facilities to support my learning and most importantly, it encourages to make the most of my time as a student.

My degree is delivered through few but compact and comprehensive lectures and through practical-based seminars/workshops, in which students analyse real-life case studies to support the lecture material. We are often encouraged to reflect upon what we have learned and to challenge ourselves into finding solutions and ideas.

The academic assessment is spread across the year and it consists of various components (essays, assignments, exams, personal reflections, portfolios, presentations, group-work, and even posters). Therefore, scoring a good mark is easy!

Many courses at Northumbria offer the option of doing an industrial placement in the penultimate year of our degree. Not only do students gain practical work experience, while still at uni, but they can also reflect upon their experience to support their studies.

I have been involved in an international youth-organisation that provides students and young people with leadership development which I'm very proud of.

I am happy to provide any information related to the University and what it offers. I can also speak about the experience as an international student at a British university, what it meant to adapt to a new environment, including challenges, and of course, the most exciting parts of studying at Northumbria. Subjects I can tackle are: the application process, entry requirements, fees and funding, scholarships, accommodation, uni facilities, my degree, employability while still a student, the life in Newcastle, travel etc.
