I chose Northumbria so I could continue my education in an international environment in the hopes of gaining enough valuable experience to increase my employability after graduation.

I really like the local feel of the University and concentrated academic areas makes it easy to stay for longer days as most resources are a quick walk away, and there is always so much activity surrounding the Students' Union.

It's rare for me to turn down an opportunity to learn or be part of something social. This roots from learning how to become self-reliable by living abroad and overcoming daily obstacles, something I'm very proud of.

My tip for any students looking to study at Northumbria is to try and be as organised as you can. The curriculum compared to the US is a little different and the last 5-7 weeks of the semester require a lot of attention!
