Northumbria University is the type of university that allows you to have a great balance between studying hard and actually enjoy being at university. There is a range of activities that you can get involved with whether on or off campus. Northumbria is ranked in the top 50 of the best universities in the United Kingdom, the ranking definitely plays a role in the decision making process. The university is known to have a great Law School which is exactly what I was looking for; a great degree and an even better student life.

The people in Newcastle are one of the friendliest I've ever met, they are very welcoming and down to earth people which is the best environment for students coming from abroad. There is always something to do in the city. There’s a range of different activities whether it is taking a walk down the Quayside or going out for some food with friends! There is never a dull moment in Newcastle. The fact that Northumbria University is located in the city centre is definitely an advantage since students can take a walk in the centre during class breaks or even shop or grab some food!

I was able to meet different people from different countries and backgrounds. Since Northumbria University has a great sport centre called  Sports Central, I have joined the NORTH Women’s football team.I have learned how to manage my time wisely especially when it comes to having fun and working hard.

I am looking to encourage as many students from Bahrain who look forward to studying in the UK. Since I am able to speak both English and Arabic fluently, I hope that I can give you as much information as you would like in regards to the “Northumbria Experience”. Since I am a student who is enrolled at Northumbria as well, I believe that we can relate to each other and could help each other out in terms of making the best choice for you!
