Workshop: Evidence to support the continuation of GCRF and Newton Fund

In December 2018, Durham University hosted a workshop to gather and discuss evidence to support the continuation of GCRF and the Newton Fund, following UUKi’s recent request for evidence to support making the case to government for the continuation of these schemes. Colleagues from across the research system were invited, to explore the impact that ODA funding has made and help put together a multi-institutional response.

GCRF & Overseas Development: The Challenges, Roles and Opportunities for Doctoral Education -  11 December, Coventry University

This full-day workshop on the Global Challenge Research Fund will hear from UKRI, the British Council and the Association of Commonwealth Universities on recent and future policy drivers, as well as from senior Doctoral College staff on good practice around the practical implications of overseas development. Event slides can be found here.
